EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail) is a USPS program that delivers your piece to every active address on the postal carrier routes you choose — no mailing list and no addressing. It is the lowest-cost way to saturate a neighborhood, and it is the default method in our calculator.

Do I need a mailing list for EDDM?

No. You choose the carrier routes that cover your farm and USPS delivers to every active address on them. If you only want specific homeowners — owner-occupied, absentee owners, or a list you already mail — choose Mailing List in the calculator instead.

How do I pick my EDDM routes?

Tell us the neighborhood, subdivision, or cross streets and we match the carrier routes that cover it and confirm the address count on your proof before anything prints. If you prefer, map the routes yourself with the USPS EDDM tool and send us the route numbers.

Can I use my own mailing list?

Yes. Upload it through the portal with your artwork. We handle addressing, sorting, and postage at USPS Marketing Mail rates (Standard Mail); First-Class is available if you need faster delivery.

How often should I mail my farm?

Accepted Answer

Most agents see the best results mailing every 4–6 weeks — consistency matters more than frequency. REMD’s recurring fulfillment makes that easy to stick to: set your cadence once, and reordering takes a few minutes each time.

How big should my farm be?

Accepted Answer

Most agents run farms of 500–2,000 homes — large enough to matter, small enough to mail consistently without breaking the budget. Use the calculator to price a few sizes before you commit.

How long before farming produces listings?

Accepted Answer

Recognition builds over months of consistent mailing, not weeks — most agents plan on 6–12 months before a farm starts producing listing conversations on its own. Agents who quit after two or three mailings rarely give the strategy enough time to work.

What does “all-in” include?

Accepted Answer

The number in the calculator is what you pay per home: printing on 12pt C2S stock, mail processing, and postage. Mailing-list campaigns include addressing and sorting. Market report mailers are the one exception — they add a one-time $395 design setup, shown on the Market Reports page.

Can I set my farm to repeat every month?

Yes. Once your first order is proofed and approved, reordering through the REMD portal takes a few minutes: the same piece or a new file, the same routes or list, the same all-in price per home.

Question 10

Do I need REMD to design my farm pieces?

Accepted Answer

No. REMD is a print and mail fulfillment shop — send us your approved, print-ready file or brokerage template and we handle proofing, printing, prep, and mailing. Monthly market report mailers are the exception: those are designed in-house for your farm.
